Our Story

At the Schmeler Consulting Group, we have over 25 years of success in project management/property acquisition for large-scale provincial and municipal infrastructure projects. We are a group of compassionate professionals with extensive knowledge and strong communication skills that helps us navigate our clients through the complexities of real estate and permitting situations. Our solutions for our clients include stakeholder consultation, land negotiation services, relocation expertise, project permitting & construction coordination, land & lease data management.

One of the greatest challenges of transit infrastructure projects is the acquisition of property to accommodate the infrastructure. At the Schmeler Consulting Group, our team of experienced real estate professionals are involved at the earliest stages of planning and design so that the property acquisition challenges can be resolved in order to meet project timelines and budgets. Our team has provided project management/property acquisition expertise for projects including the Metrolinx Rapid Transit (RT), the Yonge-North Subway Extension, and the Ontario Line Subway. We have also assisted national clients such as Royal Bank, Starbucks, and H&R Block with real estate/lease negotiations.

Since 1998 Kimberly has been a contributing part of network implementation teams in the telecommunications industry and on various public sector projects. Kimberly’s experience has afforded her the opportunity to learn the business while successfully maintaining and building relationships with property owners and tenants.
